Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Drawing
A two year Postdoctoral Research Fellowship is available within the Centre for Drawing (CCW) to undertake research into the role of drawing in planning the London 2012 Olympics, working in collaboration with and under the supervision of the Rootstein Hopkins Chair of Drawing.
Set to start during summer 2012, the successful candidate will be based at Chelsea College of Art and Design and has the potential to make a significant contribution to British arts and culture. The research will review as wide a range as possible of drawing material produced during the Olympic 2012 planning process, including maps, diagrams, plans, perspectives and doodles that are both hand and computer generated. There will be the opportunity to produce papers summarising their research findings for publication, a co-authored book/catalogue and an exhibition.
The closing date for applications is 24/08/2012.
