This year’s Prize Winners event at Camberwell College of Arts was held just prior to the Undergraduate and MA Conservation Summer Show 2014 Private View. This event gave us the opportunity to say thank you to our generous prize givers, as well as celebrate the achievements of our prize winning students. The event hosted by Camberwell’s Dean, Nick Gorse, was a great success so here we share with you some of our talented student prize winners.

This new award has been set up by BA Photography Course Director, Duncan Wooldridge, and Photography Technical Coordinator, Richard Smith, to recognise the technical achievements of graduating BA (Hons) Photography students. The criteria for the award is the demonstration of independent exploration, discovery, analysis and curiosity of the processes they used for their work.

The award consists of agreed use of the Camberwell Photography Resource facilities post-degree. Originally intended for two students, the competition was so tough that they decided on three winners!

Below is work featured in the Undergraduate and MA Conservation Summer Show 2014 by all three student prize winners.
