MA Interactive Media | Final Show 2013

Here you will find presented four final major group projects as well as research, speculation and practice in the areas of interface and interaction design, user experience design and digital culture.

The course is one of the longest-established postgraduate courses in the field and is designed for people who want to work in interactive design and media, web, digital and interactive installation. It combines theory and practice, covering conceptualisation, planning, design, coding, production, project management and usability testing. Students are encouraged to explore, experiment and take risks.

The unique approach of this MA lies in its emphasis on the role of theory in underpinning multimedia design practice, and on making interactive design to challenge and test theories of interactive communication.

The course places great weight on the learning opportunities afforded by group-work. It reflects the multi-disciplinary and cooperative nature of industry and practice and has the added benefit of enabling students from many different cultures to exchange ideas, concepts and learning experiences in a collaborative environment.
