Screening of Full Metal Jacket by Stanley Kubrick, followed by drinks reception and preview of some of LCC student work made in response to the NAM project.

The event is held in conjunction with the Considering Vietnam conference at the Imperial War Museum on 17 and 18 February 2012.

4pm Brigitte Lardinois, PARC Deputy Director, introduces event and Considering Vietnam Conference
4.05pm Paul Lowe, NAM Project Director introduces to the JISC funded NAM project
4.15pm Sara Mahurter, Manager, University Archives and Special Collections Centre, discusses the Kubrick Archive at LCC and introduces the film Full Metal Jacket
4.20pm screening Full Metal Jacket  (116 mins long)
6pm onwards drinks and nibbles in the reception room next to Podium Lecture Theatre and the chance to view student work which will be uploaded to the NAM online interactive resource. The online resource will go live in Summer 2012.
